Traveling by ferry is part of experiencing island life. BC Ferries provides regular scheduled car/passenger service to Mayne Island year round.  The island is a scenic 60 minutes from Vancouver (Tsawwassen) and 50 minutes from Victoria (Swartz Bay) on Vancouver Island.

Ferry reservations can be made during busy periods at no extra cost.

Reserve on-line at www.bcferries.com or call toll free in BC 1-888-223-3779 or 1-250-386-3431 outside of BC. Arrive 30-40 minutes ahead of scheduled times, and make sure you pick up a Mayne Island Chamber brochure / map on the ferry.

 

From the Ferry Terminal to the Resort:

If you are taking the ferry without a car, you can take the community shuttle bus service from the ferry terminal to the Mayne Island Resort. Online reservation is needed, at least 24 hours in advance, to ensure service. Fill out the Mayne Island Bus Society’s online scheduler form to reserve.

Arriving by seaplane is a spectacular and unforgettable trip over the beautiful Gulf Islands. Scheduled and chartered flights are available to Miner’s Bay on Mayne Island, just a 5 minute drive from the resort. Before booking a room please let us know your ETA so we can make arrangments to pick you up at the float plane dock.
